Wk3__The Artistic Dilemma!

Hello readers!

I shall be talking about my futile effort to improve my artistic skills.

Goodness gracious!

I can honestly say that my artistic skills is the worst in my class.

Ahh..Screw it! I can’t draw to save my life man. The things that I enjoy doing, is to write journals and design web pages. Telling me to draw a picture is the equivalent of asking me to grow 20 cm in one month!

Sometimes, I do envy my friends because they can draw so well. Their objects and their shading is so well done, I could only look at their masterpiece in amazement.

To me, Art is something that I do not really look forward to. I mean, really man!

Spending four hours concentrating, redefining my perception, adjusting my frame and not forgetting to draw a straight line, really exhausts me. In my opinion, I suppose those who really can draw well are mentally strong!

Seriously mate, I do not mind travelling from Pasir Ris to Clementi and spend at least 3 hours on the MRT. However, I am honestly unable to take 4 hours of Art lessons. Be that as it may, my efforts to really improve my drawings are seriously futile.

Anyways, I do appreciate the help of my friends who helped me during Art lessons. Truthfully speaking, I would have lost interest in Art lessons if not for the encouragement given by my course mates. There is two people who helped me during Art lessons and Storyboarding, and I do think they deserved to be mention in my sensational blog!

These two students would be Leon and Lyra.

I don’t like to mention names but the pair has helped me whenever my brain has been “fried” by circles, lines and shades!

I am really thankful for the both of them, as they would help me understand what the heck is going during 3D Art and Storyboarding.

Henceforth, I shall make a conscientious effort to improve my Art. (I think!)

That will be all, my fellow readers!

Tune in next week!

Zakee.

I guess what you’re talking about is formal art – when I was in Uni, I did an installation with fake blood – it was the most fun I’ve ever had.
